Over 60 Years of Combined Experience

The Stars in Motion dance faculty has a combined experience of over 60 years in the teaching industry! They are all Powhatan County natives and their mission is to instill a passion for dance; as well as, provide a high quality technique standard to the area.

Highly Qualified Teachers

Stars in Motion has an impressive team of highly qualified teachers who are excited about the future of the studio. Each faculty member is educated in dance and several hold dance and choreography degrees from reputable universities (VCU, GMU, & JMU) and/or certifications from Acrobatic Arts. Additionally, they have real-world experience in various aspects of the industry, including teaching, choreography, performing, coaching local dance teams, judging competitions, being an MC, working on music videos, and directing and producing shows.

They are thrilled to work with current and new students and help them achieve their goals.
